Who we are

White Ribbon Alliance Kenya is a homegrown, women-led organization working to transform what reproductive, maternal, and newborn health, well-being, and dignity look like in Kenya. Over the past five years, more than 3.5 million underserved women and girls have told us through our Ask, Listen, Act Power Approach what they need to live safer, healthier, and more dignified lives. We listen not in boardrooms, but by meeting women where they are: in clinics, marketplaces, at water points, and in community gatherings. And we act. We work through Action Villages, locally rooted spaces led by women and shaped by lived experience, in places where the burden of unpaid care, water collection, and the daily struggle for survival is felt most deeply. Here, women and girls access the MAISHA Pack: a whole-woman life kit grounded in three practical pillars.

What we do

We ASK

We LISTEN

We ACT

White Ribbon Alliance Kenya (WRA Kenya) works with communities especially diverse women and girls to ignite their power and codesign local solutions that are fit for purpose and relevant to local challenges based on their self-articulated needs.
This follows our asking and listening through our ASK-LISTEN-ACT power approach. This is done through our Action networks for change. These women and girls action network for change is a powerful network of diverse actors, working at the grassroots level to advance the health and wellbeing of women, girls and newborns and ultimately their families and communities in general.
